It’s a Pop-up Pool Party!

Hurricane, what hurricane? Everything felt back to normal, at least for an afternoon, on Saturday, April 5, when 35 Whitney residents and visitors gathered for our first all-community party in almost a year.

The impromptu pool party was the brainstorm of Joni Diesenberg. Thank you, Joni for giving us the nudge we needed! Everyone rallied and we had our usual array of yummy potluck dishes, upbeat music and fun conversation.

It was especially fun to see some of our snowbirds who would normally have been in town for several months already.

As you can see below, some guests decided to make it a true pool party.

We may be a little worse for wear, but I think we can all agree there’s still no place like Whitney!

Now the only question is, when is the next one?
