We Can Swim Again!

Great news! Our pools are open!

We have received clearance from our pool maintenance company that the water is balanced and they are ready to be used!

As February 5, 2025, the water temperatures were at 80 degrees but rising. That’s a touch chillier than we would like them, but our new heat pumps are working non-stop to get them up to our desired 85-86 degrees. Heat pumps work more slowly but much more efficiently, than our old heaters, to get the temps up, so just be patient!

Also, you might notice a little bit of staining on the bottoms of the pools. Our techs tell us this is happening to all of the pools that were closed down from the hurricanes because they safe for over 4 months with no circulation and gunky green water in them. They expect the sanitizer to gradually lighten the staining, hopefully back to their pristine white.

The deck needed some TLC so on Monday, February 10, a small but mighty team of volunteers could be found sweeping, power washing, washing umbrellas, and cleaning up the landscaping around the pool. Thank you Jen Mott, Tom Mueller, and Kim and Bryan Forrester!

Go have some fun in the pools!
